Review content:
After my fourth visit , I realized that not only is everything delicious but it is such a relaxing venue that you don't want to leave ! The wait staff is attentive and knowledgable. The short wine list is adequate and affordable with a decent Cote de Rhone at $6 a glass . The mussels are heavenly in their sauces, the frites with dipping sauces are available as an appetizer or happily substituted for another side dish with your entree, the salads are carefully made and dressed ( the one with blue cheese and pecans was nice for lunch ), the pork chop was well sauced and served with stoemp ( potatoes mashed with cream, butter and a vegetable of the day -- mine was leeks ), the Flemish beer stew was delicious as were the filled crepes, both savory and sweet. A quiet ( soft music in the background) romantic white tablecloth restaurant only a matter of a few blocks from the Stumpf exit on the Expressway. Even at night, you can't get lost ! A must try for good food lovers.
Pros: ambiance, parking lot in front, tablecloths, well trained wait staff
Cons: Across the river
