Businiess name:  Portofino's Italian Restaurant Eastway

Review content:
Most ""Italian"" restaurants in Charlotte are so-called ""gourmet"" Italian food. You may get a couple of spaghetti noodles and some funky sauce for $20 a plate at some of these places. Others serve chili as their sauce on the pasta and claim ""it's the same thing."" Natives here should stick to BBQ and grits. None of that here. Just good Italian food cheap with great service. Eggplant, mostacolli, baked ziti, etc. Authentic cheese cake as well. It is very similar to literally dozens of family-owned restaurants near where I used to live in Buffalo. Northern transplants MUST eat here. Pizza is the best in town as well. Nice and greasy, the way pizza should be. They also have a location on Park Rd between Woodlawn and Tyvola. Pros: price, service, portion size/quality
