Review content:
My real estate agent from S&S Bayside Realty Corp., Alfonso Barrrett, took me by the hand and guided me through the complicated and intimidating process of buying my first co-op after a lifetime of renting. He made everything go well and continues to advise me. I consider him a good friend now. He heard me out and figured out what I needed and how I could get it. I could call him any time and he always made time for me, coming over to my house when that was best. I found a place I am going to be very happy with, in a great neighborhood, at a great price. When I interviewed with the co-op board, the head of the board commented on how well my application had been put together, making everything easy for them so they had no questions. This was totally due to Alfonso. He MADE SURE things were okay, and he worked behind the scenes to get things done. The one thing I made a mistake about during the experience was the one thing where I DIDN'T follow Alfonso's advice. (Even that turned out okay in the end). My recommendation: level with him telling hims as much as possible about your equation of needs, wants, money, and whatever, trust him, listen to him, let him do his thing. He knows his stuff. He advocates for you and works like a madman to get you what you want and need. I have the highest regard for him as a professional and a totally good guy.
