Review content:
I started out with Mid-Island Mortgage because the representatie seemed knowledgeable and honest. I have an email stating the rep locked in my rate at 4%. After giving them the appraisal fee and getting the appraisal done, I was told everything was fine, the value was $500,000 and we were waiting to close. Communication shut down. Turns out the rep did not lock me in and they were waiting for the rates to come down. Each day I would call between 5 and 10 times, leave messages and emails. No response. After almost 2 months I filed a claim with the BBB. I then finally received a response three months. I had since gone with another company and no longer trust this company to service my loan. I also have asked several times in emails and phone messages to either send me the appraisal I paid for or refund the $375. I receive no reponse which does not surprise me,
