My husband, mother,and I dined at the Clayton Cafe and waited more than 50 minutes for our meal in only about a half filled restaurant. When we asked to speak to the owner, she was unconcerned and offered nothing more than excuses. Our waitress was unbelievable inattentive; we waited more that 10 minutes to have our drink orders taken and she greeted us with ""Do y'all want menus?"". We never got refills unless we stopped her and requested them. She never came by just to check on us and acted very irritated to be bothered with us at all. I left a very small tip for very poor service and she confronted me loudly in the front of the restaurant (in front of the owner, who said nothing!). As if that wasn't bad enough, she came outside onto the street to further harass me and tell me that she got part of my ticket money and not to come back again, not that I would! Then, another waitress came outside and yelled at us saying that ""People like y'all ought to just stay home"". I have never been treated in such a manner at any place of business. Unbelievable!!!
