After reading another review of Bandera I had to go back to see if things had changed. They hadn't!! The food is as good as ever, the libations are the same and the service is overwhelming! Another reviewer made gross misstatements about Bandera. The service is never bad, if an order is wrong or cold it will be replaced, the staff will bend over backward to make your visit pleasant. The only reason there is a wait at Bandera is because it it so popular! The atmosphere is warm and cozy-the rotisserie fire in the back of the restaurant adds to the warm feeling one gets at Bandera. Bandera has become a cornerstone of excellent dining in Sacramento.
Pros: excellent portions, great service, good value
Cons: crowded, poor parking
