I've been here several times and tolerated the snotty service; not any more!
My horror story: After standing in the door for ten minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge (instead of staring past) us, we finally asked about the waiting time. We were sternly told to take seats at the bar: we would only be given an estimate if we sat down. Then, we had to convince a waitress/hostess to give us an estimate of waiting time. Her answer: ""You shouldn't be thinking in terms of time. You can sit at the bar and eventually you will get a table.""
Unbelievable!
Easily the worst experience I have ever had in a Portland restaurant. The service has always been poor, but this was just the final straw. As much as I like the food here, I say avoid this place until the staff learns what it means to be a professional.
