Review content:
Just recently I met with the president of Foster Premier and our propert y manager. Like many homeowners in frustration, I walked in with a hot head. The president met with my neighbor and I to discuss what was going on with our property. Many things are true with what we assumed a property management does. But there was a lot we learned. Most howners assume that the company is a glorified babysitter, frankly they do not charge enough if they were to assume to responibilty of a babysitter. We, like many homeowners assumed that all of the problems came from the management company. What homeowners have to realize is that there is only so much ""legal"" control that the company has. Many times these are a poilce matters or a community problems. It is important that the association boards lay out in the rule book what they are paying for, when they pay for a management company. It is not the fault of the management company there are bad neighbors out there. Sometimes people need to report that there is a problem. IF you feel that your problem is not resolved then to go to the next person in line. I am confident that if the president did not care about us or the way his employees conduct business, he would have never met with us. We only hope for the best in our futures,
Pros: They were up front, blunt and honest
Cons: I wish they were up front, with out us having to take the step of going into the office
