Review content:
My wife and I recently have moved away from Brookline/New England after living there for 7 years, and hands down the restaurant we miss the most is Rod Dee. Granted there is no parking (we used to just walk down from our Beacon St. apartment), the space inside is best described as a ""hole in the wall"" (I used to wait outside in my big winter coat as my wife would sneak through the crowd to snatch our take out order), and we used to fight over who would call in the order since the english was ""not always so good"" (although in 7 years they never got it wrong), this was the tastiest and most inexpensive Thai food we have ever had, period. We have lived all over the country and never have found a place where 6 bucks got you a huge styroform dish of curry, rice, and chicken (I am a 6'5"", 215, and a single massaman curry chicken put me down) that was not only inexpensive, but also incredibly tasty (try the massaman extra spicy - my favorite!). We loved the star noodles, pik pow fried rice, garlic chicken, and occasionally even some of the appetizers. We may miss Boston, but we ache for Rod Dee!
Pros: Best Thai food and Thai food price, hands down
Cons: No parking, try to avoid eating in (go with take out)
