Review content:
We went into the Chandler MVD to get my daughter's learner's permit. When our number was called we were treated SO INCREDIBLY RUDELY by an older woman named Jan. She was in stall # 2 and from the minute we walked up, she talked to us in a way that you should never talk to anyone. No ""hello"", no ""how may I help you"", etc. She just looked at us, so I sat down in the first chair. She then said ""SHE has to sit there"" (meaning my daughter). So we switched seats, and I handed her the paperwork. At the bottom where my daughter had signed her name, I also signed my name next to hers as I normally have to do being that she is a minor under 18. Jan looked at that and asked in a harsh tone ""WHY did YOU sign this?"" I told her I thought I had to being that she is under the age of 18. Then she took her pen, scribbled my signature out and told me to go and fill out another form and come back when I'm done. Of course she couldn't white it out or say nicely that we'd need to redo the form. So I left, filled out another form and then returned the form to her. I had to fill out the back and sign it since my daughter is under 18. You had to check if you are the natural parent married to the other natural parent, or if you're the natural parent unmarried to the other parent and have joint custody, or if you're the natural parent and have sole custody. Or you could check ""other"". I did that and then wrote that I'm the natural parent and her other natural parent is deceased. When she read that she shook her head like I was a 5 year old who couldn't follow directions. She told me to reread it and I told her my husband was deceased. THen with total RUDENESS in her voice, she said read & check # 2! (Which I had interpreted as having to due with divorced relationships). it was obvious that this crabby old Jan really dislikes her job. So if you go there be sure and avoid Jan!!!!
