Review content:
We hired AVS to re-side our house with Hardie siding. Hardie recommended them as the local qualified installer. The job took over 9 months to complete, it should have take a couple of months. I had to make two trips to the dump to haul away the refuse they left behind. The painters only did one coat, claiming that spraying one way the the other constituted two coats. We had to have them come back 3 times and they never did completely cover the siding in places. After last winter, paint started peeling off at the corner between the house and garage. I had Hardie come out and inspect it. It was not properly flashed. And Hardie found 3 other problems with the install, which they followed up with a letter claiming that their warranty does not cover faulty installation. Of course Hardie offered no help even though they recommend this company to us.
Pros: Great sales pitch.
Cons: Poor workmanship
