Review content:
This place has great Cajun & Creole dishes from authentic South Louisiana receipes. And this family has brought life, back to this wonderful old train depot, right off the square. The city had them move it away from it's orginal location near the tracks, before the restoration started. And what a beautiful job. Terrific outdoor seating this time of year. But the food, is what it's all about. The Gumbo has to be some of the best we've had outside the Big Easy. Just add the amount of hot sauce you like, and go for it. The Shrimp Creole was just the right amount of spice. But what we loved the best, was the New Orleans BBQ Shrimp. Just dip some french bread into this, and wash it down with one of their Hurricanes. Half-price 4-7, every Thur-Sat. And the staff knows what they are doing. This place is a welcome dining choice for Decatur!
Pros: Great Historical Building, Gumbo, and BBQ Shrimp!
Cons: Not Open For Brunch Yet, But Coming Soon!
