Review content:
I worked at a group home on Pine Lane in Windsor for 5 months as direct care staff. My background is as a licensed nurse and I have college education in Human Services. One of the supervisors was abusive to a particularly difficult client. I reported it immediately. Of course she denied it and so did several staff she was able to manipulate into protecting her. The state OPA investigator was an elderly man, he seemed disinterested and not properly trained to handle this situation. He was more intent on finding motive for me to report this. The clients are not living in a well structured appropriate environment. There are numerous situations taking place daily that are highly unethical. I stand by any statements I make. If this was a criminal investigation I would sign a sworn statement and readily submit to a polygraph. I would not use this agency at this point. Personal opinion.
