This shop is San Jose history. Fiancee and I went there and we liked looking at all the historical and interesting stuff: rare coins, silver , jewelery, antique photo post cards of local places, etc.. It's like a mini museum full of precious and cool things you can buy. You could spend the whole day here and still not take it all in. It is a family owned business. They have been around a long time. (Moses probably shopped there.) They are knowledgeable and helpful to the point that they will even refer you to other places if it makes more sense for you. I noticed every customer and vendor that walked in that front door was smiling, happy to be there and greeted by the owners like old friends. The atmosphere is ""laid back"" and friendly. It was our first time there and it was the BEST experience I have ever had in a coin shop. This is what it used to be like to do business in San Jose. A place as special and unique as this is a rare thing to find these days. It's the opposite of the Starbucks ""cookie cutter"" businesses that are everywhere. What a pleasure to discover!
