Businiess name:  Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

Review content:
In my opinion, Firebirds has the best burger in Charlotte. Maybe anywhere. But the key phrase is ""in my opinion"". It also makes a difference whether cost is an issue or not. I've read reviews that claim Hardees or Backyard Burgers is the best. Well, for the price, yes they beat something like Wendys or McDonalds, but that's a whole different category. (In which case Five Guys takes that prize!). But without considering cost, I have to say that the cheeseburgers I've had at Firebirds are second to none. I can't make one as good on MY OWN grill. For a start, because they grind their own beef, they don't have to conform to those stupid NC regulations that prohibit you having your burger cooked medium rare. But for whatever reason, the end result is superb, and worth the $8.95 . One negative though...their fries, in my opinion are perhaps the WORST I've had...they're those horrible clunky steak-fries. (I almost feel like going in with my own bag of fries from Five Guys!! ) But anyway, considering the ambience, AND the fact that you can enjoy a beer with your burger, Firebird is definitely the King of burgers in the Queen City.
