What a joke. The sales person on duty today was unprofessional and not willing to deal with a defective game that I purchased at the store. She was very emphatic about not the ""don't have receipt, no exchange"" issue, even though I insisted that there was not one in the bag when I returned home from the store. The CD was scratched in the package prior to installation. I told her this, but she would budge. I then decided to call the manufacturer, Microsoft, who then told me that I would have to swap out with them instead. How unfortunate that a small business cannot uphold the philosophy of ""pleasing the customer first above all"". I will certainly never recommend this store to anyone EVER. BUYER BEWARE: check your purchases carefully and open up your software at the store before leaving. That way you can show them that you did receive a defective product, and hopefully they'll remember to put the receipt in the bag or better yet, have them HAND you the receipt. Such an unfortunate incident like this has taught me a valuable lesson...that is, don't always buy from a small vendor..unless you know them well. I guess it's back to shopping at the big box stores instead where they DO LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER.
