We got an estimate for rat proofing and trapping from Frank Walsh (very good price with 6 month warranty) and contacted him a couple of weeks later to start the work. He said he could start the next week. I called him back to ask him to bring a contract that spelled out the scope of the work and the warranty and he said fine. The next day I get a call from Frank saying that it was ""not within his abilities"" to write up a contract and that he won't be taking our job.
I can't imagine what kind of a professional could not write up a contract unless he didn't want to leave a binding paper trail for his work and warranty. Very shady. Glad we found out before work began.
