Review content:
Blink once and you miss this place. Set between someone's backyard and a gas station, Bereket seems like a highly unusual placement. The facade deceives you as you feel the need to get out as fast as possible it's so insanely small, however, you walk into the back and VOILA! there is a huge outside (covered) seating arrangement. At first, I thought this was a strictly take-out joint until one of the owners sat me outside with some tea while I waited for my meal. The food is good and reminds me of the kebab stands all over Greece and Turkey. It's not a five star sit down kind of quality. However, for an area bereft of any selection of fancy Mediterranean food, this is a one up and it definitely satisfies a more authentic taste you won't find in a diner. They are priced a little on the high side, however, the food is definitely good and homecooked and worth the extra pennies. I wish they did offer slightly more regional dishes like Karadeniz fare, but I continue to wish all Turkish restaurants did....
Pros: authentic, fresh, good quality, decent parking
Cons: slightly expensive, BYOB, set back
