First of all, the Salon Lofts concept is great. This is a fun, trendy, inviting atmosphere. Amy used to work for Akada-thankfully they gave me her cell number, which is surprising for a salon where an employee is no longer working. I will have to give Akada props for that. Amy is so friendly, and easygoing. She listens to you, asks lots of questions, and even asks about the cuts/color that you've had in the past that you hated. She looks at your skin color, eyes, in my case freckles, and face shape. You will get a hair cut that is totally unique and suited exactly for you. I have not really had many bad experiences with stylists in the past, which is unusual, but I was with the same lady for about 10 years because she didn't take too much off my long hair which is important to me. However, my hair was lacking a certain something and needed someone with some flair to really bring out my personality and what cut and color will work best for me. Amy was able to deliver all of this and I'm very satisfied. Check out all her reviews at Akada on City Search. Almost all the outstanding reviews mention Amy. She has started her own business with Salon Lofts and is really making it happen. I think her prices are really reasonable. She also guarantees her cuts, color, services for 2 weeks. So, if you're not happy with anything she will fix it.
