Businiess name:  Frank's Chop House

Review content:
I took a date to Frank's Chop House for a nice dinner on a Saturday night. As we entered the hostess and another gentleman who we found out was one of the owners immediately greeted us. The place was a little smaller than I expected but it added to the style and decor of the restaurant. The wine list was good and it had wines from all over the world. I had a white wine from New Zealand and my date had a heavy cabernet. We both enjoyed the wines very much. We tried the crawfish empanadas for an appetizer and they were tasty. My date had the Black Drum and I had the signature 16oz pork chop. The food was awesome, cooked perfectly with plenty of flavor. It took me a while but I did finish the 16oz pork chop. It was great, best chop I have ever had in Houston. The owner actually walks around the dining room throughout the night and talks to the patrons, which I thought added a great personal touch to the evening. The waiter was very attentive and offered some great choices on the menu. I plan to go back soon, it?s well worth the trip. Pros: Food was very tasty and fresh. Can easily compete with Houston's high end restaurants. Cons: Small dining area so make sure you have a reservation.
