Let me start out by saying I should have gone here first. I work on Wall Street, so to say my life is busy and hectic is an understatement. I had recently moved, and was looking for new dining room and living room sets. Initially, I went with another company ( who shall remain nameless!) and what a disaster. After taking SIX weeks of my time and 3/4ths of my furniture damaged upon arrival...they sent me a second set. Which, SHOCKER, arrived damaged! Finally I sent it all back, after haggling with these people for weeks on end...and I still got stuck with all of the shipping costs!
Well, I found Laporta Furniture had the same items I wanted , so I called and ordered from them. What got me was their shipping process. My furniture arrived in what was the equivalent to Fort Knox! Everything in tact, not a scratch and the delivery was actually right on time. Not only do I appreciate Laporta Furniture Company for not wasting my time...but I got exactly what I wanted. The furniture is beautiful. Their customer service is outstanding. And their shipping process is truly CUSTOM! Two thumbs WAY up for them. I will never go anywhere else.
