Review content:
I stumbled upon V-Bar on the corner of St. Mark's and 1st this Friday night as I was seeking out a place for eight of my friends to gather. I originally had us set to meet at St. Dympha's only to discover their back patio had been shut down. I quickly looked for a new locale and found V-Bar. What an excellent night we had! The restaurant/bar is beautiful with windows everywhere and a perfect corner location. So fun for people watching and just hanging out on a beautiful Spring night. The wine selection is off the hook and their food is gorgeous. I'm quite a foodie and was expecting the food to be good meaning tasty and relatively good like most of the other restaurants around my neighborhood. I was wrong. The food is down-right delicious. I had the sage ravioli and was blown away by how delicious it was. The environment is very EV unpretentious and no sign of the usual Friday night crowd you get in this neighborhood. Highly recommend. Pros: excellent food, ambiance, and location
