Review content:
I have to say I do most of my shopping online these days. I very rarely walk into department stores or malls. The only real mall I venture into is the Galleria. I don't even do the Eagle Rock Plaza which is closer to my home. Even though the little shops change up every now and then, I can always count on the larger stores to be there when I need them. Last night, case in point, I'm getting things ready for my sister's 50th birthday party and gathering last minute items. I needed See's candy for the party favors, so I headed to the Galleria. I was parked, in the mall, buying candy, and out of the building in less than 20 minutes. I didn't have to hunt for the store, as it's still in the same place it's been in for 20 years. The staff...as always, was extremely pleasant and accommodating when I ordered a one-pound box hand-packed. Yes, I knew it would weigh more than a pound...yes, I'll pay the extra. Even though I don't frequent it as much as I did 20 years (or even 2 years) ago, it's still the staple mall in my local shopping milieu. Pros: lots of parking Cons: too many people
