I should have read the review on this place before taking my sister here to look for a companion cat. They let us in to see the cats and the volunteers were really sweet (unlike the front staff). My sister fell in love with one and was told to go fill out the paperwork so she could ""visit"" with the cat to see if he/she is a fit for her. The have on the form if it will be indoor only or indoor/outdoor. My sister has a wonderful place for a cat and we have always let our cats in and out, so she said so. Well, the lady said their policy was they wouldn't let any cat be adopted unless you were only going to have them indoors. Nothing was said about this policy AT ALL. Why bother asking on the form - just say it up front and not even start the process. This also promotes people saying what they need to say to get the cat. My sister was heartbroken - she had fallen for this kitten. I guess they really don't want to adopt out their cats. She would have made a great ""mom"" to this cat and she would have had a very loving home. They were so rude about it. They said it was always policy but I have been to other PAWS and they didn't have this strict policy. To those on the staff in Lynnwood on Saturday, December 18, shame on you! Not only were you not honest from the start, you broke my sister's heart and were RUDE doing it. I have been in customer service my whole life and I was appalled. Maybe a class give to the front staff in how to give good customer service and how to talk with people are in order. I will be writing a letter to the headquarters of PAWs and let them know they aren't being represented well at all. I will never go back, will never recommend your place, and will let everyone I know about your treatment. So much for spreading the love of pet ownership Lynnwood PAWs!!
