Review content:
I purchased a gift certificate for (3) free services for Terrace Salon & Spa at an auction at the end of March. I later discovered that the gift certificate expired a month later and had restrictions for certain days of the week. When I called to schedule my appointment, they were not able to get me in anytime before the expiration date, nor offered to extend it for the inconvenience. I called back to talk to the owner, John, only to realize that he obviously was not interested accomodating a potential new long term client. In fact, he was offended that I suggest an extension. The situation was handled very poorly on the business' part. I also discovered that the individuals who were donating the services originally no longer worked there, so that is likely another reason for them not honoring the gift certificate. This is no way to run a business and they presented a very poor first impression without me even stepping foot through their door.
