Went to Luna Park for the first time with a friend last week and thought it was a bit over-hyped. First of all make sure to bring money for parking because you will either have to valet or fight for one of the metered spots on La Brea. We decided to share a bottle of wine and some courses. We started off with the chipotle caesar salad, it was good, nothing out of this world - but had a little kick with spice. Next, we had the parmesan rigatoni Bolognese. My friend ordered this before and said it was really good, but this time around it was kind of bland and needed some extra salt and pepper to liven it up. However, we decided up front that we were going to treat ourselves with the make your own s'mores - these were super yummy and definitely made up for the rest of the meal. The overall look of the restaurant was nice, very dark with candles - maybe nice for a date instead of meeting a friend. And was disappointed that someone told me to get the grilled cheese and tomato soup because it is really good, but apparently it is only offered on the lunch menu. I looked at this menu online and it looks like it offers a ton more than just the dinner menu - so maybe next time I'll try lunch instead of dinner there.
