Review content:
We've been going to Maharaja Palace since 2001. It has always been a bit overpriced, but the food quality allowed us to justify it. Recently however, the portion sizes have decreased to the point where we leave feeling a bit cheated. For example, the Chicken Tikka Masala used to contain well over 6 oz of chicken in 1"" pieces. In the past few months, this has decreased to less than 3 oz of chicken in 1/2 inch cubes. It still tastes great, but there has to be enough of it to justify the high prices. You can expect to pay around $50 to $60 per couple to dine here. The decor is minimalistic and the restaurant is now beginning to show signs of deferred maintenance, such as torn seats and worn carpet.
The people are nice, but the service is slow and indifferent. All in all, we are extremely disappointed to see a place we've enjoyed go downhill.
