Hello! I moved to Central Oregon from Colorado (where I had a great hair stylist) 23 years ago, and I am sad to report that I did not find anyone in this area that has cut my hair satisfactorily. Very frustrating to pay for a cut and end up either cutting it further at home to even it out, or ""fix it"", or being very disappointed that too much was cut off! So, for the past (almost) year I have been cutting my own hair UNTIL a close friend recommended Rachel at The 9 Salon. I drove 26 miles to give it a try and have not been disappointed in the least, but very encouraged. I would say that Rachel is an ""artist"" with hair. She is intuitive and understands style requests, how to handle the varying textures of hair, and how to shape your style to your face, and in addition, she is an amazing person. I am enjoying getting to know her. I also look forward to my daughter, Rachel, getting her long locks touched up by the amazing Rachel at The 9 Salon!
