Review content:
My fiance and I finally tried Las Vacas Gordas after hearing great things about it. I can tell you the food looked and smelled good, but I never go tot taste it. We went on a Thursday night around 6:00. There was only one other table of customers there when we arrived. We ordered a glass of wine and a beer. It took 45 minues for our waitress to return to our table to ask if we would like another drink or if we were ready to order. Meanwhile, the place is starting to fill up. We ordered the Jamon Serrano as an appetizer. It arrived and was delicious. By this time, the place was completely full. We ordered our dinner and waited for nearly an hour. The waitress walked past us several times and we must have been invisible. She never came back to our table! My fiance finally had to get up to get her attention. She had a terrible attitude and kept saying it was not her fault, it was the kitchen's fault. She then proceeded to give us our bill, which INCLUDED the dinner we never got! We asked for the manager and there was not one on site. She adjusted the bill, but never offered an apology. \r

In observing the entire restaurant, there were only two waitresses. But there were about 10 busboys just standing around. \r

I don't think we will be trying Las Vacas Gordas again.
