They are nice while taking your money and then don't want to see you again. My husband and I just bought new appliances from them. 2 of the appliances we purchased were Miele and were on sale. Our salesman, Ernie, told us they were marked down because they were last year's model and they are brand new in the box. We purchased the dishwasher for $1200 and the cooktop for $1159 and were told what great prices they were. Our cooktop did not work properly since we got it (3 weeks ago) and we called Voitek and they told me it was normal for the burners to burn out and for the clicking noise. 3 days ago my entire kitchen was filled with gas. I got nervous and immediately called my heating guy (our home is a brand new construction) who came right over and immediately said the gas was coming from the cooktop. I called Voitek and they could not be bothered. I was told ""you broke it call Miele and deal with it."" Miele sent a repair person right over and he said that there is no way we broke the unit and in his opinion it came from Voitek broken. I called Voitek and explained the situation only to find out that they wanted to charge me an additional $500 for a new unit, and... they called Miele and told them not to help me bc we broke the unit which they never even came to look at. I asked Dave why he wasn't standing behind us and trying to help and he said (and I quote) ""you're lucky I'm even doing this. Now let me know what you want to do and call me back.""To make a long story short, when I was on the phone with Miele I learned that Voitek had purchased both the dishwasher and cooktop in 2002 and sold it to me as ""last years model"" for $1200 and $1159. What they did is unethical and I would check all serial numbers and dates of appliances before buying anything there. Also, they are completely unwilling to help you when something happens to one of their appliances after leaving their store. Pittston Appliance and Dunmore Appliance has wonderful customer service, buy your appliances there. Miele ended up replacing the gas cooktop for me because Voitek refused to help. If I broke the gas cooktop (which I am pretty sure they are hard to break) would Miele be giving me a new one???
