Review content:
I was looking for a new nail shop to try out and chose to try U4EA because of the glowing reviews here. I'm sure I visited the wrong salon, cuz I don't see how anyone could rave about where I went. First, it's tucked back inside a strip mall way back from the street with a sign that simply says ""salon"". I arrived for my pedicure and full set and sat with Kim, who is nice but a bit pushy. As I surveyed the layer of dust and random objects laying around, Kim strapped on a pair of BLACK surgical gloves (weird). She did give me an excellent, very thorough pedicure. Next I went to Kevin's station for my full set (that is, after he went outside and smoked while I waited...p-ew). The set looks nice but he was VERY rough and hurried and he used a chemical that made my skin burn under the nail (never had THAT happen before). I noticed a few days later that there's a gap between my natural nail and the acrylic where particles/moisture can get in (the mortal sin of fake nails). He also charged me for French tips which I didn't receive (didn't realize this until after I left). I had planned to get Solar, but he told me it would cost $40 or $45! Not sure how they can justify that much for Solar. He also started doing round corners and when I told him I wanted square instead he said I ""should have told him that earlier""...bullshit, you should ASK the client before you start...this is basic, especially because girls my age almost always get square corners. I am not at all sure that they clean the metal instruments between clients. Won't be returning and can't recommend it.
Pros: Superior, very thorough pedicure
Cons: Attitude, seems dirty, all-around sketchy
