Review content:
We had Austec Appliance do warranty service on our LG dishwasher (which is less that two years old) earlier this year. Months later, the door handle falls off. When we went to see what the problem was with the handle, we notice water has been leaking from the left side of the dishwasher. We decided to pull out the dishwasher to see where the leak was coming from. We had difficultly pulling the dishwasher out from the cabinet because the water had caused the particle board to swell and bind the dishwasher. Once the dishwasher was extracted, we noticed that the left side panel was bent as a result of being incorrectly re-attached to the dishwasher. After we removed the side panel, we discovered the source of the leak was coming from the ""air guide"" gasket. Apparently, the Austec technician failed to tighten the ""air guide"" nut on the interior of the dishwasher tub, so water was leaking around the gasket. It was simple to tighten the nut. Unfortunately, a lot of water damage had already been done to the cabinet. We had to repair the cabinet before we could re-install the dishwasher.
Cons: Sloppy workmanship, cost us more to clean up their work
