Purchased a Groupon-type deal for $36 instead of $75 for a mani/pedi. I finally got around to using it a couple of weeks ago and let me just say that it was not close to being worth the $36 I paid. I feel guilty for buying my friend one because I now realize I would have been better off paying less at any other nail salon and getting better service. Don't get me wrong, the salon is trendy for Round Rock, comfortable, well decorated, friendly staff and convenient location. Reviewing the mani/pedi only however: It was a disaster. Nails are unevenly shaped, cuticles a mess, no proper pedicure chair, lighting was poor so the tech struggled to put the polish on, nothing to help facilitate drying the nails, PLUS it TOOK over 3 hours!! More importantly, they had very few colors to chose from and I struggled to find one I liked. I came home, took off the polish, and did a better job myself. No joke! Bummer was that I was really looking forward to it and I don't get out much without the kids for some pamper time. What a waste.
