You will really enjoy your stay here. I did. There aren't many places near Lake Almanor that you can stay at a real lodge, not a chain motel, and get great food and good service. I stayed at this place many years ago and it was nice, but needed renovating. Well, finally it got it. It's not super fancy, but very updated and clean. The new owner is very accommodating. I can't wait to go back.
Pros: Service, food, cozy lodge feel
Cons: long drive, seasonal place to visit
