Review content:
we went to Old Drovers on a friend's recommendation and stayed Saturday night as well as ate in the Taproom for dinner. The dinner was amazing, there are very romantic old-style candles on the tables and the atmosphere was very intimate with the original low ceilings and construction (as our waiter told us--I forgot his name but he was lovely). We stayed in the "Meeting room" and enjoyed a glass of wine in front of the fire at night. There was also a full breakfast served the next morning in another area of the inn, this room bright and sunny. Fresh-squeezed juice and a newly baked popover was another treat. This is a place I would recommend not just for the history and beautiful views but especially because the staff was polite and helpful but unobtrusive.
Pros: thoughtful staff, horseback riding nearby, excellent dinner (especially chedar cheese soup)
Cons: plumbing is original and takes some time to warm up
