Review content:
My father was in a senor care home for about 3 years until I decided the care he was receiving was not enough to meet his needs. I felt he was ignored and received poor care. It didn?t help that the owners were never there. A friend told me about Astoria and although I was apprehensive I decided to go see what the home was like. To my surprise, Astoria is not like any other senior home I've ever seen. The place had friendly caregivers, a clean atmosphere, and a very organized system. They only have about 12 residents there so I knew that my father would not get lost in the crowd. After my father moved in they immediately treated him as if he was part of their family. Mom and daughter, Sophia and Inna (the owners), are there literally every single day. They always know what?s going on with him and there is always great communication between us. They take care of everything and it honestly takes a huge weight off my chest knowing that he's being looked after 24-7 and nothing ever gets over looked. Go see for your self.
