After the second Calc lecture last year, I walked out of the classroom thinking I was toast. I could hardly understand a word of what my professor was saying, and I was starting to think I just didn't have the aptitude to handle it. But - a friend had recommend Mr. Hogan, and I decided to give him a try. Sure enough - after just a few meetings, I found myself understanding more than I ever thought I would. For the first time - this stuff started making SENSE! I went from struggling with the homework to having fun (well - at least I wasn't in misery anymore! :) ) - and I ended the semester with an A-. But even better than that - I'm now finding I have a LOT more confidence than my classmates in applying the basics to other courses (I'm taking a macro econ course now). Looking back on things - Mr. Hogan did a lot more than help me to pass a few tests - he gave me real confidence in a skill that I'm finding more useful than I'd thought at first. I can't recommend him enough!!
