Review content:
I had acrylic tips done at this salon at the insistence of a friend who is very happy with the way her nails are done there. The nail tech was really nice and I have to admit that my nails looked excellent at first. The problem is that they barely stayed on for 10 days before one popped off and two others started lifting. I was on vacation and unable to go back to get them repaired. By the time I returned from vacation, two more were lifting. This is two weeks after they were put on. I barely even wash dishes and I don't work, so there was no reason for them to lift. Actually, nails should never lift - they can wear out faster if you do a lot of hand work, or a tip could crack or chip. When acrylic lifts from the nail, it can result in fungus infections, in addition to being quite painful. I'll drive back to the salon one more time and make sure they know that I am not happy with my $30 tips falling apart so fast. Hopefully they can fix them right, but if it happens again then they have lost a customer.
