Hi, this is Rick, the owner of Broadway Auto Clinic,
I remember this customer well. He was upset, because I had installed the *correct size* tire on his Jeep. Perhaps I should not have assumed that he wanted the right size, and wanted the wrong size that was on there already.
While we took off one of his hubcaps, it crumbled apart, due to it's age. I tried to explain to that it had been off many times, and it was fatigued. He blamed me, and said we broke it. Our fault or not,I offered to look for another one for him so he wouldn't be upset, but he was already foaming at the mouth, and yelling at me and my wife for the above mentioned things..
I did offer to change over his tires and order a hub-cap for him, but instead, he said F-you to me said he would take me to court, and then burned out in my parking lot, almost running over my foot.
Still, I arranged for another shop to change over his tires, which they did, because he threatened legal action against me, and right or wrong, I didn't need the hassle. I would have gladly switched over his tires had he not been so abusive to us.
I'm sorry it didn't go as it usually does. If you read other reviews from other sited, you'll see that this is definitely not the norm. My staff cares deeply about our customers good experiences with us,as we have for the last 13 years.
