Review content:
YUMMMMM! Food just tastes EXCELLENT! Big difference between this Chinese restaurant and others. I have been to MANY and have SELECTED ONE! The decor is lacking a notch (it's neat) when comparing it to a high-end wearhouse district joint, but so does every Chinese restaurant that I have ever been in. The food is so good that I have trouble being adventurous: I pick one thing and when I come back the only thing that is on my mind when I order is the same thing I ordered last time. I bring all my good friends there and every one orders their usual favorite and then comment how much better it tastes at Wah Sun! This gives me a chance to explore different foods! The restaurant is ran by a very polite Chinese family. They have been hiring [very nice] new waiters lately, but I prefer to be waited by one of the family members. They have the most excellent habit of remembering you, things about you, and the things you ordered (even if it was months ago and you are trying to remember what was on your friend's plate). I urge you to bear with their Cantonese accent and strike a conversation with the Chinese waiters every chance you get - especially when you are waiting for food and it is not too busy. Very nice people indeed. After a year of going there I got in a habit of tipping at least $10 even if I am alone (meaning I only order $8 worth). I have a very strict tipping standards (many times around Cleveland I tip $0) and this place gets 150% on every level. Also note the portions! $8 will fill you up like no other. If you spend $15 (you will most likely need friend's help with any order over 1/2 Qrt ~$4) you will feel PLEASANTLY full and not the sick kind of why-the-hell-did-I-eat -all-this-food kinda full that you get from other Chinese restaurants.FINAL THOUGHTS: Bring your friends, bring your family, bring your dates. Get Singapore Ho-Fun (wide rice noodles with pork, shrimp, and veggies) and their amazing fried potstickers! This is my first resturant review! YEY! =)
Pros: FOOD, PEOPLE.
Cons: I'm not eating there now....
