As the owner of Bliss, I'm extremely saddened and surprised by the previous review. Bliss only employs the most talented stylists. Our goal is our clients complete satisfaction with all aspects of their experience at Bliss. We have hundreds of happy clients willing to back that up. In other situations I wouldn't even explain myself, but because of the deception of that review I am. I cancelled appointments to attend my grandmothers viewing and funeral on a Friday evening and Saturday. I worked 12 hour days the following Sunday and Monday to accomodate any clients this affected. If anyone was upset, inconvenienced by the cancellation or just impatient and needed an immediate appointment I suggested any stylist that could work them in. THIS IS THE CLIENTS CHOICE. I have trusted Shannonn to do my hair before and will again. She is an educated and talented stylist with 7 years of experience. Any client who is not 100% happy with their service should let us know. We are always willing to do whatever it takes to make the situation right. Considering I had to find their complaint online, I am pretty sure that lack of communication was the problem. If you do not communicate to your stylist (be it through pictures, words, swatches, whatever) exactly what you are wanting and expecting then you are not going to get it. Perhaps the stylist thought she gave the client exactly what she wanted! How can we know otherwise if you don't say anything. We WANT you to say something. You should NEVER leave the salon unhappy. You are our walking advertisements. We want you to look and feel great when you walk out the door. We want our clients to refer new customers not unfairly slam us on the internet. Proper communication during the consultion is key to achieving an awesome salon experience and the perfect end result. And Bliss Beauty Lounge does not, never has and never will allow drinking or drug use by the stylists. We pride ourselves on our outstanding work ethic and skill. Don't let their review scare you from coming to Bliss. We will be more than happy to show you proof of extensive education, examples of our work and the names and great referrals of HUNDREDS of die-hard Bliss fanatics including our distibutors, educators, stylists from other salons and ,most importantly, our ecstatic, satisfied customers who have been visiting us regularly for years (including many who travel from Dallas, Houston, San Marcos, Austin, Waco, Killeen, Copperas Cove and many other cities across the state of Texas!) And if the writer of the previous review decides to speak to us in person instead of slamming us behind our backs in an unfair, lie-filled rant, they will always be more than welcome to come in and let us do whatever we can to make them happy. Bliss Beauty Lounge...keeping it positive and real since 2007...and serving up Unsnooty Beauty daily...cause that's how we roll. :)
