CPR was the first McMenamins I was exposed to when I moved to Portland from San Diego over a year ago, and it's still my favorite. I've had a romantic pizza dinner with my wife, toasted the health of my buddies in front of a piping hot stove over whiskey and cigars in the White shack, and polished off a plate of tater tots with my nephew after playing tag among the trees. The food is outstanding and the atmosphere warm and inviting any time of year.
Pros: unique character, variety of dining venues
Cons: parking lot is almost always full
