I wish I could give this club zero stars. I was lied to at membership sign-up. Ken at Woodbury told me at sign-up that there was a $200.00 cancellation fee. After 6 months, the cancellation fee would be $50.00 less. After a month, I decided I no longer wanted the membership. I didn't cancel however because of the fee that I would incur. I went into the Coon Rapids gym to talk to Michelle to cancel despite the fee, and lo and behold discovered there is no cancellation fee, and I was lied to. She did however tell me that I wasn't the only one who had come in saying the same thing. There had been other people that had been lied to about the exact same thing. I then called a sales member at Woodbury looking for a simple apology, investigation that would include calling Michelle at Coon Rapids to inquire about the other complaints, and a call back. I never got a call back. This sales member informed me that Ken is one of their top sales people and a long time employee at LifeTime. I then called Shaun at Woodbury looking for the same thing. He said he would look into it and call back, but never did. Then about two weeks later I called Jennifer Longtine, their general manager and she insisted it must have been a miscommunication. She did not apologize for the inconvenience or money lost. She insisted that Ken is one of the top salesman, implying that I had probably just heard him wrong. She did nothing to help me as a customer other than cancel my flex membership this month, rather than next month. I would have appreciated an apology more than $10.00. I could have saved $159.00 by canceling earlier if it weren't for the lie I was told. This gym treated me with little to no respect, they lied to me, wouldn't call me back, and wouldn't apologize for their mistakes. They seem to protect their top salespeople at all costs. I wonder why. If you have a problem with the LifeTime in Woodbury that you want to voice, it probably won't be heard. I wouldn't recommend this gym to anyone.
