I WAS ROBBED AT 1701 INDEPENDENCE AT 4:00 P.M. I HAD NEVER THOUGHT TO GET INVOLVED IN THE THINGS THAT I SAW THERE BEFORE LIKE MINORS WAITING FOR ADULTS TO GO INSIDE TO BUY THEM BEER. FOR ONE THING I NEVER KNEW WHO TO REALLY CONTACT. BUT ON JAN. 30 2008 I WAS STRONG ARMED ROBBED INSIDE THE 7 ELEVEN STORE AT 1701 INDEPENDENCE WHILE THE MALE CLERK AND OTHERS WATCHED. A WOMAN TOOK MY MONEY RIGHT OUT OF MY HAND AS I WAS PAYING THE CLERK AND SHE AND I WRESTLED A BIT. NO ONE ASSISTED ME IN GETTING OFF THE FLOOR AND THE CLERK NEVER SAID ANYTHING. JUST STARED AT ME. NEVER A CONSOLING WORD OR TO EVEN CALL THE POLICE.
