Review content:
Vista Builder Inc. seemed to be one of the larger custom home builders in the Chaffee County area. Our family took the plunge and found them to be sub-par in terms of reliability, scheduling, and communication. We found they took way to many shortcuts in the construction process including, but not limited to, low grade materials and low grade workmanship (bad mitred joints, cheap carpet, etc.). The most fustrating part of the process was the amount of time it took to complete our house. The contractor schedules seemed to overlap at all the wrong times. Ultimately this increased the time to completion and caused fustration for the contractors as well. Lastly, the communication was utterly lacking between the different branches and with us, the homeowners. If you are in the market for new construction, in the Buena Vista area, consider doing a little more homework/research and go with one of the more reputable firms.
