After seeing all the ""Best of Roanoke"" awards on the wall, I was pretty excited to try the food. Unfortunately, the meal left my entire table wondering if someone had switched restaurant names on the award plaques.
Come on folks, this is dining in the back room of a fully functional deli. The level of waitstaff snobbery was totally inappropriate for the dining experience.
Potato-feta soup was watery and flavorless, the lasagna was cold in the middle and the bread was at least a day old. To top it off, when we inquired about desserts that were listed on the menu, we were told to get up from our seats and look in the deli for available sweets as the waitress didn't know what was still left.
At least the owner was more helpful when we sent a letter about the experience, sending a coupon good for another visit.
Pros: easy parking, nice bar, it's a deli
Cons: snooty wait staff, crowded dining, over-priced
