I think the worst part of my apartment hunt was trying to dodge the brokers who charge exorbitant fees for showing you the worst places possible. Thankfully I found a decent broker at City Realty and was then able to find a nice place. Not only was Nate an actual human being (and not a money-hungry lemon-pusher) he also managed to show me only places that fell across the full range of my budget. He also managed to negotiate the fee with the landlord so I only ended up paying a quarter of it.
