Review content:
When looking for wedding venues, I did a search online. I saw the Chism house and thought it would be great for my smaller (50 people) wedding. I liked all of the pics online and went to check it out. The house itself is just as shown. It was perfect for what we wanted. The bridal suite was great, the kitchen perfect for our caterer that we wanted to bring in. The grounds, although could be better kept would still be fine and enough room for the kids to run around and play. The downfall and the dealbreaker was the view of the trailer park!!! I was like, who wants this in their wedding pictures or even visible by guests. If they could maybe have some taller trees brought in along the gateline so that the horrible view of the nasty old trailer park could be covered I am POSITIVE that their business would increase. It was just something I could not even think about...my wedding guests looking out over a trailer park. NO WAY. I hope they invest some money in bringing in trees or something to block the view of the trailers. That was the one reason that we decided against it. We just could not bear the view for our guests or possibly showing up in our wedding pics. We decided on another place that was considerably more expensive, but the view was not of a nasty trailer park.
