I took my 95 BMW in for a oil change, at this point i'm uneasy about having this shop do any additional work on my car. When i checked the oil the next day it looked dirty as if the filter was not changed and the oil indicator was not reset. I asked for an estimate to have the thermostat and water pump changed out as preventative maintainance. I was quoted $200.00 in parts and nearly $400.00 in labor, hardly a fair price on Labor!! I have owned 3 BMW's prior to this one and it seems that when i take my car to a mechanic i am quoted double to triple the price because of the make of car! There is NO WAY they should charge #400.00 labor for this job, the water pump is in front of the engine its a simple job. Just because i am a woman doesn't mean that i am ignorant i have been around cars all my life....i doubt i will use them again! It cost me $103.00 for an oil chnge
