My boyfriend and I visited the new Cheeseburger in Paradise in Wayne, NJ. Neither of us had been to a CiP before and after our experience last week, we'll NEVER be back. The hostess said it'd be a 50-minute wait for a table but it was only 15...good for us, but bad for business since a lot of people left upon hearing of the long wait! After being seated, it was over 10 minutes before our waiter came with the menus and another 20 just to get our drinks. We were finished with our drinks (good, but lacking alcohol) before he came back to take our entree order....which then took over 45 more minutes to arrive! At the 30-minute mark we asked what the hold-up was and our waiter said he'd ""check with the manager"" and it should ""only be another 3-4 minutes."" Well, 15 minutes later, my COLD, pathetic-looking burger arrived, sans the cheese and mayo on the side which I'd ordered. It took another 5 minutes to flag our waiter down and ask for the manager. We waited 10 more minutes and the manager never showed, but our waiter didn't hesitate to service other nearby tables without coming over or even looking in our direction while we were sitting there visably upset. Meanwhile, my boyfriend's food was getting cold since he was waiting for my corrected order (or even just the manager!) to appear. He/she never came, so we just got up and left. Granted, we got free drinks out of the ordeal, but wasted almost two hours out of our lives. Come to think of it, not one employee appeared over the age of 20...meaning that none of them were that experienced. Where was the manager?? Where was an ADULT!? Unacceptable at a new restaurant! Our meal at the Wendy's next door seemed like a 5-star dinner compared to Cheeseburger in Paradise! Maybe things will improve at the Wayne location, but I advise anyone thinking of going to reconsider.

Cons: Terrible service, no management presence, lackluster food, watered-down drinks
